The few times I have been to Disneyland have always been in the summertime when crowds are at their peak. Happily, I get to go later this week, and according to all the crowd predictors I've been able to find, the crowds should be a lot lower than summer. But what I don't know is if I still need to have a strict touring plan in mind to take advantage of everything I want to do, or if I can be more "go with the flow" and still have time to do everything? I'll have 2-day park hoppers. Thanks for any advice.

When is the best time to do Peter Pan? I've heard that first thing is no longer the best option?

The line for Peter Pan will really not get any shorter as the day goes on. So first thing in the morning is still your best option, but you should make sure that you are one of the first people in line before park opening.

I would say the crowds could still be high with people lingering from dapper days and it's just higher this year with the 60th. I would say make a touring plan, but don't feel like you have to strictly follow it. It's nice to have a list of what rides you'd like to do and have an idea of the best times to ride them to avoid lines. Things like this ride is busy mornings but not evenings or similar is good to have in mind. I would say to ride PP as soon as you can as the line never gets smaller- we like to "walk with a purpose" to it first thing and we usually only wait 10-15 mins which with kids is way better the 45-60!

I read that the park was at capacity yesterday, so I wouldn't expect low crowds. I'd have a plan.

Definitely have a plan! We just come back from 5 days in the park. We went because the crowd predictors were saying low crowd levels. NOT SO! The first hour was the best, but by noon lines were long. Take advantage of your early entry if you have one, that will be your best time to get things done. Also, if the park opens at 9:00, be there by 8:30 especially if you want to head to Peter Pan.

Have you downloaded the Disneyland app? I found it super helpful to be able to constantly watch wait times, even in the weeks leading up to my trip, to get a good idea for traffic patterns. I saw Peter fluctuate from 25 minutes to 45 minutes throughout the day, and it was definitely packed right after opening. I never had the spare hour to commit so we missed it on our trip!

Always have plan even if you end up doing a more "with the flow" trip you always have something that you know you want/will do
