I know we talked about this before, but I can't find the thread. Do I need to bring my own bottled water on board?

They sell it on board and it's also available at deck 9 drink station but if you prefer to bring your own you can and it will be a bit cheaper

You don't need to..you can get dasani delivered to your room the usually disney charges of course. The room/tap water is fine as well.

We brought a couple of bottles with us, then refilled at the deck 9 station. If you are the type of person who only drinks one particular brand of water, then you might want to bring your own (I think the bottled water DCL sells is Dansani, since it's a coke product). But if any bottled water is okay by you, then I think you'll be fine with the filtered water they have for free on Deck 9. It tasted great to me!

I am really picky about the taste of water and I have found that the water at the drink 9 stations is just great!!! I would never bother lugging bottled water onboard with me. I would not drink water from the bathroom tap...but that is just me...I wont' drink water from any bathroom tap.

I bring one water bottle with me for travelling and then just fill it up each time at the drink station.

we brought our own bottles on as part of our trip down and just refilled them upstairs......

Yes, You can bring your own bottled water. Disney sells Evian water (24 bottles) for the price of 20 bottles for $30 -- a little pricey IMHO. I, like mmouse37, am really picky about water and the water at the Deck 9 station is pretty darn good. HTH

Thanks everybody. Water is water to me so I won't have a problem with the ship's water I guess. I just forgot what everybody said about bringing water. Now that soda is free I don't have to bring anything on board except my clothes.

ikohawaii, yes you do need to bring some water...but for the plane more than the ship. I make it a point to bring at least one bottle of water per person on the plane. The flight attendants aren't always serving liquids when I get thirsty and I've found that one cause of jet lag is dehydration.

FYI, on our trip to MCO in May, we got stuck on the plane, ON THE GROUND in Dallas for 3 hours without any service since we might be leaving any minute. The water was a lifesaver.

Besides, if you bring several water bottles on the plane, you'll have them to fill up on the ship.

One thing we bought on the ship that we love was a neck strap that tightens around the neck of a water bottle. Made it REALLY easy to carry the bottle if we went shopping and on excursions. They were selling the water with the straps (and the straps separately) near where we were gathering for the excursion.

DD says the water on Deck 9 drink station and all the water served in the restaurants is filtered and tastes great.
