Do I need to book Cafe Mickey

Hi all,

Now I've only been to DLP once before, and am bokked to go again in May cos I loved it

I didn't really do any restuarants last time, but was thinking about Cafe Mickey...do I need to book, or can you just walk in to get a table?

You can just walk in and ask for a table, but you may be a long wait until you are seated.

For the cost of a phone call, it would be better to book a reservation to avoid any problems.

I'd agree - for Cafe Mickey, book it in advance, then you'll be seated immediately.

When we went last May, we booked Cafe Mickey for 9pm (the park closed at 8pm). We were immediately seated. However, there was a queue of people who hadn't booked and their waiting time was approx 1 hour.

we aren't to sure yet of an itinery, so how easy is it to book at city hall the morning of / the day before you want to eat there.
We would probably looking at 6-7pm to arrive as we have two littlies

Yes, you can go to City Hall on the day and book. You can even book via one of the Disneyland Hotels.

Mind you, if you are planning on eating between 6pm and 7pm, it should be fairly quiet at these times. Still, it would be safer to reserve a table.

Its very easy to book at City Hall, they are very helpful there - if you do it the day before you want to eat at Cafe Mickey, I'm sure you will get an appropriate booking time.

I booked a table here last week for 6pm and 2 mins after being seated the characters all came out and it was such good fun.

Mind you the food wasnt realy to my choice but hey we had a fun night

I have 2 wee ones and hope to go to cafe Mickey. Is 6pm a good time to book then to see the characters perform? Or does it vary?

Hi,

Any time you book for Cafe Mickey you will see characters. They come out every half hour or so, and you will be there at least an hour over your meal in the evening.

we went last july

and just popped into cafe mickey and booked on that morning

we booked for 6.30pm, and it was quite quiet upon our arrival which meant we had a few characters to ourselves ( upstairs) for a while
