Do I need my MM card?

Starting to pack and came across my MM card. Do I really need it for anything? Last trip in Oct MM was a huge disappointment. Half our ride photos were missing. I wrote down all the numbers and finay after 3 emails and 3 weeks they found all but one. Even with the number they didn't add it to my account. We never got out ToT video but they found the pic

The card will be just one more thing to worry bout having handy. Do I need it for anything that can't be done with the band?

I'm pretty sure the card is just for guests staying off property who therefore won't have bands.

No, you don't need the MM card that comes in the mail. For rides that have pictures like Space Mountain, we always went to the Photo Station and had them manually add them to our bands. The CM does ensure that the photos will be there, but we do it, just to be sure.

Not sure what or how to ensure the rides videos show up for rides like Tower of Terror and 7 Dwarfs though...

My TOT ride video was not found from my Oct trip either. We went twice (2 different days), & neither video ever showed up. I wrote down the photo # & approx time of ride & gave them this info to see if they could recover them. They were not able to. VERY disappointed!
