Do I need help???

I think I need an intervention. I am HOOKED on Disney. I love that place. Since our first visit with our kids in June 06, aftering getting home and then 6 months later looking to book next trip. 2nd trip was Sept 07, then again in Jan 09. Here I am again wanting to go before Christmas. It wouldn't be a problem if we had extra money that could be used. Not broke but very careful with the money, not alot to spare! Any help??? Anyone else like me out there???

Sweetie if you are looking for help you are in the WRONG place. You have entered the world of enablers!!! My WDW addiction is so much worse since I found the Disboards!!! We've been twice in the last year, and I want to go back this Christmas season too! Every time I see a discount deal now, I want to jump on it and go. Before the disboards, I had never been more than once every 3 years. Of course, I didn't have a kid then either.

I was so going to post a similar topic. I think I am having DWS (Disney Withdrawal Syndrome) We went last year, and I am trying my darnedest to come up with the money for a Christmas trip this year. My DH has been laid off, but we are doing ok now that he has a temp. job.

I have come up with different budget scenarios that I have been tossing around. The sad thing is we could probably swing it if we made it our Christmas to the kids and each other, the difference isn't that much. I think I would rather have the memories instead of the presents that I end up tossing when they lose the pieces or break it. Yeah, so you see what I mean.

OH sweetheart, you are so not alone . The main reason I am on here so much lately is that I am going through withdrawl and another trip just isn't in the bank account right now . I am dying for another trip, but first people, you have to get out there and start buying cars again . When that starts to happen again, I am there girlfriend.

Right there with you my friend!! I am planning our next three trips... one in 12 days!! and two next year! We are like you... not broke, but not a lot to spare either so we evaluate everything... let's see... I could buy a new dress or use the money for disney. No brainer. Who needs a dress anyway? We have been trying to find a way to get our kids to be healthier so we have even bribed them. If they drink water instead of soda when we eat out they get to put the price of the soda toward disney spending money. It is an obsession!
