do I need fantactmic dinner on Dec 1st

Do you think that I should make ADR's for the fantastmic dinner on dec. 1st or do you think that the crowds will be low enough that we won't have to wait to long in the regular line?
Also I was wondering at that time of the year the show is at 6:00. Is it dark yet? If not does it loose some of the effect? Thanks for the help!!

We went this past Dec 2-9 and the one time we walked into Fantasmic, it was standing room only in the back! We ended up leaving and did not get to see on that trip. I'm also debating whether to book the package for last week in Aug. Hope this helps!

We were there last December 1st and the parks and Fantasmic were crowded. We were glad we had the dining package. And yes, it is very dark at 6 PM. Make sure you pack warm hats and gloves for the evenings!

I was there on December 2 and also found the show crowded. We were a group of 4 and did get seats - but the the far left of the stage and fairly far up in the ampitheater.

Thanks everyone! I will book the package. Now I just have to decide on H&V or MM. I think I'm leaning toward MM but does anyone one know if the spicey Italian sausage is one the packages select menu (my DH is not a big italian food fan but will eat this). Thanks again!

Hmm - I have never gone and had standing room only but this was in May and Sept so I am unsure of Dec crowds. I do know that the LEAST crowded show tends to be the one the day after MGM's EMH since most people try and go there that night, it isn't as busy the next day. I am debating on the package for Aug as well. I am not a fan of MM menu and will be buffet out from character meals. I think we are winging it....
