Do I need 2 reservations?

We are going to Disney May 15th - 20th. I am planning on booking the next trip October 17th - October 21st. I am hoping to use bounceback, but the dates at this point are only valid from Oct 19th - 21st. So I'm wondering..do I need to do 2 seperate reservations in order to get the bounceback (assuming it is still being offered) for the dates that are valid?

yes, and you will have to check out and back in(but should be able to stay in the same room). Is their min amount of night with the bounce back?
