Hi! I'll be making my ADR's in a few weeks for my August trip....Whats the current situation with CRT?? :confused3

I'll be on the dining plan BUT Iam planning on paying out of pocket for Cindys.
When I call to make the ADR will I have to pay the whole thing or leave a depost or just a credit card number.
Iam hoping to make 2 seperate bookings one for Breakfast and one for dinner so perhaps they differ in the advanced payment thing.

I just haven't got a clue and Also Iam hoping to book the disney girl tea party does this need to be paid in full?

Thanks for any help! :cheer2:

I'd like to know too. I booked a crt lunch for our april trip, I actually put the whole charge on my cc. I figure this will give me time to pay it off ;) before the trip!!! However, I am still trying to get a breakfast ressie and wonder can i put just a deposit on my cc (since i'm on the dining plan?) and then once in wdw, just decide whether to use dp credits or pay in cash??

Yes you will have to pay the full amount in advance for CRT. Even with the dining plan they will take a cc # and not charge it unless you do not show up. Below is the info from Allearsnet.com
CHANGES AT CINDERELLA'S ROYAL TABLE!

Beginning February 1, 2006, dining at Cinderella's Royal Table will undergo several changes:

-- Breakfast and Lunch will continue as Disney Princess-themed character meals. However, when you arrive at Cinderella Castle for your reservation, a photographer will be on hand to take pictures of your group in the lobby, before you are seated in the dining room. A package with four 4x6 prints and one 6x8 print of your photo, as well as one 6x8 print of Cinderella Castle, in a Cinderella photo holder (valued at $29.95 plus tax) will be delivered to you during your meal, which will be from a fixed-price, set menu. (Additional photos may be purchased.)

Breakfast: $31.99 ages 10 and up; $21.99 ages 3-9. Lunch: $33.99 ages 10 and up; $22.99 ages 3-9.

-- Dinner will become a fixed-price, set meal, also, hosted by the Fairy Godmother, who will lead the observance of special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. You will also have the chance to have your photo taken before dining, with a photo package similar to that mentioned above offered to you during the meal. In addition, you will receive a special, unframed, unmatted lithograph (worth $50), given exclusively to diners at Cinderella's Royal Table Dinner.

Dinner: $39.99 ages 10 and up; $24.99 ages 3-9.

NOTE: Once these changes go into effect (February 1, 2006), payment in full with a credit card will be required at the time of booking for all meals at Cinderella's Royal Table. If you do not have a credit card, the reservation cannot be made. All reservations for dining at Cinderella's Royal Table prior to February 1, 2006, will follow current pricing and deposit payment policies.

Magic Your Way Plus Dining Plan WILL be accepted at Cinderella's Royal Table meals, requiring TWO table service credits.

Thanks for the replys. It looks like Iam going to have to pay out about $420 to book both meals, because the freakfast is for the 4 of us BUT the dinner is for 9 of us
I really want the dinner though as its actually going to be our wedding day so we would have been paying for our friends anyway....I just didn't think it would be 6mths in advance! :bitelip:

You should get the DDE. It will help with 20% off if you are paying OOP. The savings on CRT alone will practically pay for it plus you can use it at other TS where you might pay OOP. :thumbsup2

I am considering a CRT dinner as well. However I am thinking that I may pay out of pocket for a buffet one night and use the credit toward CRT. Am I thinking right.... wouldn't that be cheaper than the aprox $190.00 for CRT dinner for 5?

We just booked the CRT for our daughter's 7th birthday paid for 3 adult meals (since 11 yr old is "adult") and 2 at kid's price. Total: $202.00 Nice birthday present, huh? :-) The photos and lithograph and look on daughter's face should be worth it :-) princess:
