Do I have to leave points avail for waitlist? Or will they borrow?

Hi,
Have a 1BR OV Ressie at Aulani for 4 nights in January.
I am waitlisted for. 2BR island garden view which is 12 points more.

I have to bank my points in November.
If by some miracle my waitlist comes thru
Do the 12 points have to be in account or will they borrow them?
Do I need to calll?

When you set up the waitlist, you can give them permission to borrow the additional points. No problem!
