Do I have to have a magic band?

I really don't want to do the magic bands. I guess I just want to do it the old way-using a card to get in, giving my ADR# when I check in for dining and going to my FP at the designated time.

I guess I'm wondering if I can use the dining and FP+ without the magic bands.

yeah you just get a RFID card instead of the RFID magic band. The card works pretty much the same way except the band can work on long range RFID sensors (such as in Be our Guest Restaurant which lets them find you in there near as I can tell) whereas the cards only work on short range sensors (tapping against the Mickey head)

How do I get a Card? Will it have all of my FP+ and Dining Reservations on it?

You will still get your magic bands, but at the resort you should be able to just ask for RFID cards. Guest relations or concierge should be able to help as well. Guests without magic bands just use their green park ticket (the RFID card with admission) for the fast passes instead of touching their magic band.

Neither the card nor the MagicBands have any of that "on them."

Just to keep things as clear as possible-

There is no reservation info, or ticket info, or credit card info,
or FP+ info "put onto" a MagicBand.

The MagicBands just contain a unique serial number that is used
to access the information that is stored in your MyDisneyExperience computer file.

So, even if you were to lose a MagicBand, the info stays locked in your file.
Disney can just set up a new band (different serial number)
to access the info in your MDE file.
Disney can also issue ADDITIONAL MB's to a guest and each
additional band can be used for the same purposes as the first band.
So, yes, there can be multiple MB's per person, and each of them can be used by that person.

The MagicBand works like the combination to a locked safe, or a key to a locked door.

Why does this distinction matter?
Because there is so much fear about losing bands and,
in turn, losing all of a guest's information thought to be on the band.

The MB, itself, is not the file of info or the container of the info.
The MB just unlocks the file of info, allowing it to be accessed from your MDE account when needed.

Ditto for the RFID card.
It just accesses your MDE file and the file contains your ticket info, ADR info, etc.

And, just so you'll know...
All tickets and resort cards issued at WDW are RFID cards.
No need to specifically ask for an "RFID card" because... if you ask for
a "room key card" or "Key to the World card" or a "park ticket card,"
any of those issued at a WDW resort or ticket booth... it will already be an RFID card.

Technically the old way was returning to your legacy FP attraction at any time after the first time- not just the designated time :)

But yes it is possible to get a card instead of MB
