Do I have enough?

Okay folks, need a little help here.

We are going to WDW for 3 nights and 3-nights on the cruise.
The flights, transfers, and cruise are all paid for.

Unfortuantely, due to car repair bills in the $100's and now new car expense, my money for this vacation has quickly dwindled.

I am planning on bringing $400 for just me. My mom is bringing her own.

Do you all this this is enough? We won't be eating any outrageouly (?) expensive meals.

I am very worried I won't have enough. I don't plan on buying any expensive souveniers. Now that I have to pay for the car, I can't afford them.

We were supposed to be getting $200 shipboard credit but there was some kind of mix up and DCL told me we are not getting the shipboard credit and that we weren't entitled to it to begin w/. I was told differently 3 times.
It's madness I tell you!

You'll need to budget for tips for the cruise--don't forget that part. Are you planning any shore excursions? Those usually start in the $20+ range and go up from there. I think you're going to be tight, but it's doable.

Do you need to pay for your WDW room and ticket with that money?? If so, you may be cutting it close. If not, it is probably doable if you resist temptation for things that cost extra, like special dining and/or spa reservations on the cruise. You can eat counter service while at WDW and it would cost you maybe $30 per day. You don't NEED to buy many souvenirs while at WDW. Maybe a cheap Tshirt?? or go to one of the outlets if you have time. You can do free things on the cruise and don't even need to do a shore excursion and still have fun. At Castaway Cay just hang out at the beach and soak up the sun. Explore the island a little. In Nassau, do a self guided walking tour. I found one here http://www.bahamas-treasures.com/bahamas/Walkingtour.html but haven't done it myself.

Good luck! You can still have a lot of fun without spending a lot of money. My best advice is to not dwell on what you AREN'T doing, but enjoy every minute of what you ARE doing.

Everything is paid for. Hotel, tickets, cruise. Tips were already factored. Thanks for the reminder! This is strictly food and spending money. With 4 days of food already paid for (on the cruise).

We're not planning any excursions. My mom's not a big water person so she's not interested in snorkeling or anything like that. We plan to just enjoy the day at the beach while @ CC. She hasn't been to the beach since 1994. We planned on spending our day exploring Nassua. Thanks for the info on that. She's never been outside the U.S. so this should be very interesting for her.

DH and I went on the Disney cruise in October 2001 and we didn't do any excursions (well...we did the banana boat on Castaway Cay, but that was only $12 per person)

In Nassau, we just walked around - explored all the little shops, went to the Straw Market, saw a show on the boat - we didn't need to spend a dime, except for a few cocktails At Castaway Cay - we rented tubes for $6 each and just floated the day away - it was wonderful and not at all expensive - I think once we paid tips we walked away from the ship spending about $100.
