Do "Good Neighbor Hotels" Get the Ability to Book Park Passes?

Sorry if this is a repeat. I searched but couldn't find an answer.

I am planning a solo / girls trip for August and have the majority of my plans made. I have an annual pass and with the combination of staying at the Dolphin for the 1st part of the trip (and linking that reservation to MDE) and the ability to book 3 park passes in addition, I am pretty set for the trip.

However, due to some changes with my DH's work schedule, I am going to need to add a couple of nights. The Dolphin and Swan are both super expensive for those two nights and so I was looking at some of the good neighbor hotels in Flamingo Crossing. And may use some Marriot Points...Do any of those hotels get the ability to make advanced park reservations like the Swan/Dolphin, Four Seasons, etc.?

While, after 10 park days, I may not want to go to the parks at that point, I'd love to have the option just in case (and make some dining reservations)

Do you mean reservations to enter the parks? If so there are no restrictions on that. I stayed Marriott last week and made my park reservations months ago.

As far as Good Neighbor Hotels go .... there are no perks. They get that "name" because they meet minimum standards required by Disney like AAA approved, shuttles, onsite ticket sales etc.

I was hoping for a more budget friendly option since I'm adding 2 additional days to the trip to accommodate DH's work schedule (we live over an hour from the airport) after spending 10 days in Disney and the Marriott's are around $120/night without resort fees

Sorry, didn’t realize you maxed out, thinking that you thought park reservations were restricted offsite. And asking if Good Neighbor got perks - a common issue.

I just wasn't very clear . And if it wasn't the days backing up against Labor Day weekend, I probably wouldn't worry about it.

Basically yes since there are oodles of other hotels who haven't bothered with this "certification" that likely provide a better stay. EX: The minute you no long provide a shuttle - you can not be a good neighbor hotel. You could meet or exceed all other standards. Another hotel that provides a fee based shuttle 2 in morning and 2 in evening yet is a much lesser hotel could be certified. I pay absolutely no attention to it being a Good Neighbor.

I think the problem can also be there are blog/vlog sites that "promote" these hotels at times even misleading people to believe they get the perks of the "official" hotels and over the years the lines have blurred. It is why I often comment to differentiate. Not to negate these hotels, I've stayed at many but so that people going are not disappointed to find out they don't get the perks they expected.

Good Neighbor certification was important decades ago when there were much fewer hotels and it was a new destination. It was a way to book offsite and feel safe to do so. The need for it has long disappeared.
