Has anyone stayed at the Grand Floridian in a lagoon room and not had a view of the castle? I was wondering if I should fax a request 3 days prior to going to ask for one, of course I know that even that is not guaranteed. Thanks.:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

The lagoon view rooms (Some anyway) in Big Pine face the Polynesian but not the castle. I think it is a good idea to fax your request. Tell them it's your birthday too. That could definitely help you get the location you want!

BTW, I think the view from Sago Cay and Conch Key are the best for dead on castle views.

thanks so much for your response Scanne, I think I will fax my request! Have a great day.

Not sure what mentioning a birthday would have to do with a room request.

You can request the magic kingdom view, but this is the most popular request at the Grand Floridian so be prepared if it is not available.

If you want the Magic Kingdom view I would make sure that is the only request made.

We stayed in the Boca Chica building in December and at least half the building has a view of the whole lagoon including MK, Cont, Poly and the electric water parade. It was a GREAT view of everything!

Our room was an odd number. It seemed that most odd numbers were lagoon views.
