Hi All,

I'm wondering - do fastpasses for Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain ever run out on a Sat or Sun this time of year? Would I be able to pick one up in mid-afternoon?

thx!

BTMRR rarely runs out at any time of year - another way of saying you can still get them until after 10PM on nights when DL is open til midnight. Splash is considerably less popular when it is not warm out. So it depends on the day. Even in mid-summer you can get Splash FPs mid-afternoon. So you will be good. :)

Wonder why splash FP are less popular? Isn't this ride about the best for people holding FP and skipping all of the standby line? I can't think of any other FP that lets you skip all of the line. Also the standby line for Splash can exceed 60min+ on warm days. Maybe they don't run out because the standby line pretty much disapears after sundown.

No Hydroguy said less popular on cold days, it's more popular on hot days and then they can runout midday.

We went on Saturday 10/16, which was so busy they ran 3 Fantasmics. They still had BTMRR FPs sometime around 10:30 PM--I thought it was interesting that they were valid from 11:15 PM - midnight. So I think you'll be fine picking one up in mid-afternoon. (FPs aren't always running for BTMRR, but it's so busy I imagine they will be for your visit.)

As noted, in most cases, when it's late at night, Splash Mountain's lines aren't that long anyway, and almost certainly if it's chilly at night. I reckon the Splash Mountain FPs lose their appeal for most people when the return time is later than 8 or 9 PM.
