Do Eurostar prices go up and down or just up?

A friend of mine and I are planning a little girly trip to DLP, her first.

I looked on the Eurostar website two days ago and the trains that suited us came to £95 return each but we weren't able to commit to it just yet.
When I looked again today it had gone up to £120 and that's more than we were hoping to pay.

So my question is, are they likely to go back down or only up from here on?

Eurostar fares only get higher generally, rarely come down in price (ie last minute Eurostar fares are usually very high).

If you phone to book, you can book the direct service to DLP at least 6 months in advance usually, sometimes even earlier, and this will give you the best price.

well i have just booked for june next year and it went down from £278 to £250 return within the space of a week.

The prices tend to fluctuate if there is a long time before travel, but the rle of thumb is the closer you travel to when you book they usually only increase in price

we moved it forward a week and saved a bit of money that way as well as being able to take the direct train on the way home.
£79 each for the weekend of the 18th-20th of November
