Do Epcot with kids, or skip it?

Our family has gone to Disney a few times and we've avoided Epcot because of this same fear that there would be nothing there for her. Based on these responses, maybe that should be our next destination.

My kids love Epcot! We turn it in to a learning fun. They have Epcot passports. travel to each country to learn a little bit about and get their books stamped. It's a lot of fun! (the passports are around $10 and make nice show and tell for school)

Where did you get the passports?

My son liked future world but not world showcase. He's not a craft person and really dislikes the type of thing where you stop and color, etc. This has to do withhold dislike of writing and coloring do to difficulty with fine motor abilities. He was bored at WS. I liked WS and we will go again but I wish he had enjoyed it more. He was 6.5. We even did the Agent P game but the phone crashed halfway through. We never saw these passports people are mentioning.

My kids were about the same age when we tried Epcot and they were hooked. They couldn't stop
Riding test track and loved soarin! Not to mention crush! They definitely loved it more than most of the others. Definitely do it but take it easy so they can become really curious!

My 7yo daughter loved Epcot when we went last November. I didn't know if she would so I only planned one day there. Turned out she wanted another day there so when we go back next month I calculated in 2 Epcot days. If nothing else Epcot is a great place for Princess greetings and pics all around World Showcase. Mine even loved Maelstrom (more than Soarin - I know, weird right?) I know it may not be as exciting as MK but some kids do love it so you may not know until you give it a shot.

My kids loved WS as well. They were 5, 5 and 8 and they did the Agent P game over by Japan (one of the three I believe) and had a blast...it was so hot we were melted by the time we got finished chasing them around between the points they were sent to. They've already decided they want to do the other two portions this go around next May-June. They stopped a couple of kidcots where the 5 year olds colored...8 year old not so much.
We hadn't planned a whole lot of time at WS but are planning an entire day for Epcot this go around, if not more (but are also staying 8 nights). I'd say go and let them see it. If its not for them, head back over to MK (if you have Park Hopper that is)
Another thing my kids love....looking through all the countries gift shops!

We would never not do Epcot, even if the kids didn't love it, it's my favorite park so we would still go. lol Lucky for me my girls loved last time (they were 4 1/2 and 2 1/2)
