Do the ECV's fit on the trams that take you from your car in the parking lot to the theme parks or do you have to drive the ecv all the way from your car?
I don't know of any trams that will hold an ECV. You can load manual wheelchairs that fold up and put them on a tram, but not an ECV. You'll probably have to drive from the parking lot to the gate.
ECVs will NOT fit on the trams. You will have to park in handicapped parking. When you get to the toll plaza, let them know, and they will point you in the right direction.
Keep in mind though that if you park in a handicapped section, you must have a handicapped hanging tag or a handicapped license plate. Orange County police have been known to patrol the area.

Gail, I have a friend who works in WDW Security & has confirmed that yes, the local (non-WDW, non-Reedy Creek) police do patrol the parking lots on Disney property.
