We have a dedicated 2 bedroom queen at BCV. Will we get 3 balconies?

Also, we we may be reserving a 2 bedroom at SSR and have the choice of dedicated or lock off. Will the dedicated only have two balconies?

I love having balconies in the event someone gets up in the morning and does not want to disturb others.

The balcony will run all across the unit in the dedicated 2BR. A lock off will have a partition between the studio side and the 1BR side. All units have a balcony no matter the size.

I've been in dedicated two bedroom villas that did not have one long balcony and did not even have a balcony off the master bedroom.

I would not like that.... Last year we had a dedicated Boardwalk view 2 bedroom with no balcony of the living room and I was very disappointed as we had a large group.

So I'm probably better off requesting a lock off if we stay at SSR.

There are no dedicated two bedroom villas at BWV.

And I have had one bedroom villas with no balcony off the master bedroom, just the living room.

It's why I like OKW the best.

You're right... I meant lock off at BWV.

The one reason I am leaning toward SSR is the quick access to Downtown Disney because of the four 21+ year olds that will be with us and no car.

I was at OKW one summer with nine 18 year olds. Between the boat, buses and walking, they had no problem getting around. I have no idea where they spent their evenings or days, for that matter.

Dedicated 2 bedrooms at OKW do not have a balcony off the second bedroom. Lockoffs do.

I stand corrected. Our 2BR dedicated at BCV I'm pretty sure was one long balcony from end to end, so access from all rooms. I just remember the kids in the second bedroom coming out and having it all together. This is also the case at Kidani. I thought the same at SSR as well, but after so many trips in so many different resorts, I guess I'm getting confused! Most trips lately have been at AKV, my apologies for any wrong information!

But the one you get is so much bigger than other balconies (that was my point). I don't need the little one off the lockoff studio. It's more in line with the balconies at the other DVC resorts.

We had a dedicated 2BR at BCV with just access from living room (and 2nd bedroom) but not from master. I remember wishing it did so I could go out there while the kids still slept (DS was on pull-out in living room).

I had a dedicated 2 BR at BCV that had balconies off the living area and the 2nd BR, but not the master. That was one of those rooms that had a sofa bed and queen on the 2nd because of its location at an angle of the building.

But in the original post, they mentioned they wanted a separate private balcony for those who get up early, they were asking about 3 balconies. A dedicated OKW 2 bedroom only has one and using it early could disturb people sleeping in the living room.

Deb we did 7 18 year old boys for their high school graduation in a grand villa at OKW. That was 6 years ago and they still talk about it!!!

BCV especially has all kinds of configurations. Some tiny balconies that can hardly hold the chairs, some regular balconies and some giant balconies. We've only had lock-offs at BCV but one of those did not have the balcony off the master.

You're right. I didn't remember that part. They would need the lockoff in that case to get the small balcony off the second bedroom for the guests in that room. And the ones in the master can use the door from their room.

About the nine 18 yr olds - we brought our son and eight of his friends in an OKW GV for an after HS graduation trip.
