Do crowds fluctuate much now?

If they're only letting limited people in each day, is it at capacity each day? Is there any difference between a typical day and holiday now? Thanks!

Weekends seem to have much high crowd levels than weekdays on average according to multiple vloggers in the parks. Hollywood Studios also seems to be the park that is selling out ( so assuming at capacity ) the most.

Yeah agree, weekends were much worse. Had a few week days that were very pleasant crowd wise.

We’re here now and I’m having a difficult time employing any strategies to navigate crowds. It seems to fluctuate hourly. One hour I’m stunned that it’s only at “35% capacity “ the next hour we’re walking on rides. Yesterday in Magic Kingdom Adventureland was uncomfortably crowded with hour+ waits for everything (Jingle Cruise, Pirates, Splash & Big Thunder) except Aladdin’s Magic Carpets. Walk over to Tomorrowland and everything is almost a walk on. I can’t figure it out.

Was the time in the afternoon ish when you were walking around adventureland and it felt crowded?

The parks have not reached capacity often, DHS is the one that has done so thre most, some weekends and holiday days
Crowds seem larger because all the queues are spilling out due to social distance markers so even though it's not more crowded in the literal sense ir seems more crowded in the visual sense
The weekends are definitely busier than weekdays

Just curious...does Epcot still seem to "absorb" crowds better than the other parks? It always felt less crowded to me than the other three during pre-COVID times.

Also, is the middle of the day still the busiest in the parks? I'd assume so, but wondering what people have noticed. We want to try our best to zig when the crowds are zagging.

We are in EPCOT now and yes, it feels less crowded. But with so few attractions, less entertainment and no character meet and greets, the wait times for attractions are very long, in my opinion.

Yes. It was between 2-4pm
People tend to tour the park counter clockwise, starting on the right with tomorrowland, so a busy Adventureland in the afternoon and a clearer tomorrowland in the afternoon is normal.

Regardless of park, regardless of day what I have seen to be consistent is that rope drops are still crazy, mid-morning to afternoons are the busiest and walking around the last two hours won't exactly yield walk-on standby times but it is the most calm and least crowded the park feels all day.
