Do certain Travel Agents get priority dining reservations?

And how would they know the exact time, restaurant, and party size to provide? Sounds like someone blowing hot air to me.

If the client books at least 70 days out, the TA would have all that info to make the booking.

Travel agents DO NOT get "priority" reservations. Agents do not have any access to a reservation before the general public does. Other than using the alert systems and being extremely persistent, or possibly having a system within their agency where their fellow TA's share what they have to drop from clients who are cancelling, there is no other way. They really cannot and absolutely should not "guarantee" getting all your dining and if they do, and especially if they want $300 for it-find another agent.

I was thinking the same, are they extending the trip on the front half and then editing it shorter and keeping the end? That’s my hypothesis.
