Do banked points expire?

Hi All,
Seriously thinking of joining - but am confused about banking points.

Some ?

Do banked points expire?

If you bank all points, can you still use them if you change your mind?

Under what circumstances would you loose banked points?

Yes, they expire the end of the use year you banked them into otherwise you will loose them.

Once banked you they are banked and if you decide to book a trip you will then need to borrow points from the next year.

Example. You have a total 200 pts for 1/01-12/01. You decide to bank 100 pts from the 1/01 to 12/01. You bank bank them into the next use year, 1/02-12/02 in 3/01. Oops, in May 2001 you decide you want to take a trip in July 2001. You cannot get those pts that you've banked back. You would need to borrow from the 1/02-12/02 200 pt allotment.

Next question answered....and once you "borrow" them they cannot be put back. They expire at the end of the Use Year to which you moved them.
