Do AP rates always run out the day they are announced?

Just curious. We'll have AP's good until next Dec. I was able to get AP rates for our Dec 2004 trip, and am hoping that we'll be able to get them for shorter notice, shorter trips in 2005.

But do the rooms always run out the day the rates are announced?

No... I think they run out cause everybody's booking all at the same time, but wait a few days/weeks and somebody is bound to cancel or change their ressies.

We were able to get an AP rate less than 2 weeks to the start of our vacation back in May.

No -- earlier this summer we changed our plans and I got an AP rate the SAME week I wanted to travel!

I've managed to add on a day with AP rates while I was already at WDW!

I was a little worried booking today, since the rates for Dec have already been out a few days, but had no problems!
