I'd expect that normally every DISer watches Disney channel or equivelant, or did watch it with kids, friends, parents etc. Normally I tend to watch Cartoon Network for the new shows like Robotboy, Camp Lazlo or the new episodes of Foster's home for imaginary friends and then toonami for new Pokemon episodes. I NEVER GO TO NICK ANYMORE! (But I may do if they bring out new Fairly Odd Parents or Spongebob Squarepants episodes). I really only watch disney when American Dragon, Recess or Lilo and Stitch are on, but they are hardly ever new! (Plz plz plz bring new episodes of American Dragon out; it's so cool!)

SO, The whole point of me rambling on about this is that I'd like to ask if any DISers have interests outside of Disney, hence we shall have a poll on this!

I only watch the Disney Channel and that is only sometimes :) I am sure that will change soon.

Although mostly we watch Nick, I have to admit to watching CBeebies as well. Obviously, when I say 'we' I mean my 3 year old son ;) His favourite at the moment is Dora so she wins over anything the Disney channel could possibly offer.

I'm with you Joh - DD loves Dora (and goes unnecessary over her cousin Diego!) She also watches CBeebies but NickJr is 'it' at the moment. It took us a while to realise that she wasn't watching the Disney Channel at all but when we did we got rid of it (after all £5 a month = £60 a year!) She hasn't even noticed and it's been gone for months now.

I watch Boomerang, cause I love Scooby-Doo

We have the Disney channel included in our Sky package but I couldn't tell you the last time we watched it

Don't wacth any of those ;) I don't have Sky :)

Eldest DD watches some things on the Disney Channels - Kim Possible being her favourite. Youngest one is obsessively into the Backyardigans at the moment which is on Nick Jr and she also really likes Dora. Occassionaly they will watch something on CBeebies as well.

I am somewhat confused by this poll

Are we voting just on Childrens Channels??

I don't really watch any childrens channels at the moment, although that will probably all change when BabyUK comes along ;) No doubt it will be Balamory or something similar on the TV 24/7 then :teeth:

We used to watch Home Improvement and 8 Simple Rules on the Disney Channel, which were excellent shows, but we have probably seen every episode 2 or 3 times now. Are there any similar family oriented comedy shows we are missing out on??

My daughter used to watch the Disney Channels for the same as Alan, Home Improvment, 8 Simple Rules and Raven, but apperently now she prefers the ABC 1 channel which has all these and more. So as I never watched the movies we got rid of them which also meant losing the Disney Channels.

Sue

DS will not watch anything else only Disney
so no one else can have a say

I do not watch any of these channels, are they not just for children?

My son watches Nick JR but none of the Disney channels.

In the mornings my 2 DD's watch the Disney Channel for Lilo & Stitch, The Suite Life and That's So Raven. They used to always watch Nickelodeon especially for Sabrina The Teenage Witch (but no more) and they also watch Trouble for My Wife & Kids

I didn't mean for ppl to be confused with the forum! What I meant by other channels was any other channel on Sky or equalent! Then again, I didn't really expect adults to talk about what their kids watch on TV either!

My DS is nearly 3 and has always been a big Nick Jr fan. As I type he is watching the Backyardigans before he goes for his bath.
He likes Tarzan and Lilo and Stich on the Disney Channel but besides that he doesn't really watch anything on Disney.
He also likes some of the old TV programmes that I used to watch that are now showing on Noggin such as Mr Benn, Bod and King Rollo.

We watch a right mixture in our house because of the ages. Me and Dh have never grown out of watching Trouble for the silly american sitcoms, DD6 likes Disney the best for |Lizzy Maguire, Lilo and Stitch, Kim Possible.. actually you name it, she watches it :rotfl2: but she also likes Cartoon Network and Boomerang for Scooby Doo, Powerpuff Girls etc.
DS4 loves jetix for Power Rangers and Spiderman, Nick Jr for Lazytown "is that the right name?), Dora the Explorer and Maggie and The Ferocious Beast.
Lastly DS1 (nearly 2) loves Playhouse Disney, especially Book of Pooh and Bear in the Big Blue House, but he also really likes CBeebies, and we do watch Channel 5 in the morning for Peppa Pig and Hi-5.

So there you go, quite a variety in our house and I realise I now deserve the award for bad mother of the year for the amount of TV they consume :rotfl:
