do any men scrapbook?

I saw 2 at a convention a few weeks ago. But that was in a room with about 1000 other women. My DH is a closet scrapper, he'll walk by and say move that here, use this color there etc.... but he'd never admit it. :rotfl2:

I like to see guys scrap because they seem to have a different view of colors and patterns.

My DH isn't a scrapbooker but he will be out and say " that would be a good scrapbook picture" :) Got him trained right :) :)

that sounds like my very macho DH -- he will say "Oh! We have to have a picture of that!" and then he'll say, "well, my wife scrapbooks -- you know it's important for her......"

Yep DH is the same way. He can't complain to much about much money I spend on scrap stuff considering he spent a fortune on camera equipment.
He averages about 1500-2000 pictures during every WDW trip.
We might go to the scrap convention at WDW next August. This way he can go take pictures while I scrap without the kids pestering to go on rides or me saying hurry it up.
At least they're intertwined addictions right?!

There use to be a guy on here that posted some amazing layouts! I think his name was scott. I haven't see him around for a long time.
Then we had another dad who did paper piecing....absolutely amazing...Wonder where he is too!

We have an older gentleman that sometimes comes to crops. He is big on journaling. He says its the most important part. And he is more than likely right.

the ladies always love when he comes to the crops.

Oh and my DS loves to scrapbook his pics.....you should see what he will crop down to in a pic. But I love his interpration of events. Its fun...although lately the only time he does it is when he is grounded from tv/video and computer....lol!

I had a guy come into my sb store this past Saturday - he purchased 12 patterned papers and 12 matching cardstock papers - all corresponding to the montly holidays. When he was ready to check out, I asked him if he had anything special planned for these papers. He said he was making a calendar of him and his daugther for his wife for Christmas!!!! How sweet is that?!?!?!?!?!

No, but my 5 yo DS loves to "help" :rotfl2: It actually usually turns into me scrapping and him making crafts with all of my tools. :teeth:

That is so sweet. It reminds me of a time a few years ago when DH took my SB supplies and made me a card, complete with stickers, pictures and all. Does that count? :rotfl:

My DH doesn't scrap per se, but he does give me lots of ideas, and he also went to the Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Convention in Valley Forge with me this past summer. He really is very supportive, and loves looking at my work. Thank goodness, because this way he doesn't complain about the money I spend on scrapbook supplies. :teeth:

I know quite a few from the different boards. There are a couple that are on Design Teams as well. The there's Tim Holtz, wonderful artist, stamper, & scrapper :) ::MickeyMo

My ex husband loved to "scrap" only he'd draw the accents and color them in- It was pretty kewl... and attach the pictures- He is a wonderful artist

My current other half- tolerates it- LOVES looking at the books when Im done and enjoys helping to pick out stuff at stores (when I get him in there)

Yes i remember MikeScott he had a really neat web site What happened to him???

My DH did our wedding album :bride: and he keeps an album going for his work portfolio (masonry contractor). His stuff is very simple, CM-like, although he did get a little creative here and there with the wedding pictures!

We've spent some of our best long winter days with all the scrapping stuff out on the kitchen table.

I was in Archiver's a few months ago when a man came into the work area with his rolling suitcase full. He was working on his great-great grandfather at that point.

Yep! I met a guy at the scrap store who is also a Dis'er (thank Beth for that!) he may be lurking about... and my DH made thank you cards at a crop at a local store-- the girls running the crop convinced him to submit them for the card contest and he won second place! He got a new camera and loooooves taking pictures of every little last thing, he is always telling me that the more pics he takes the more choices I'll have when I go to scrap. He has also been talking about doing some scrapping of his own of some of his fave pics.. we'll see :)

My dad is a scrapper! He's good too! He is also really into journaling. I got him into it because he is big time into photography and I thought he would be good at it.

We live about 45 minutes apart so it's nice to go to crops with him and spend some time with him!

Well, my DH is a closet scrapper also :rotfl: he doesn't scrap but he saves souveniers, cards things like that for the albums, he likes the scrapbook store and helps out also.
