Do any DVC studios hold 5 people?

I am looking at purchasing a DVC but have a family of 5 and from what I see only the 2 bedroom DVC's can accomadate more than 4 people.....if that is the case, the numbers completely change as far as the value of a DVC goes.

As occupancy is a hot topic here on the DVC Board, such discussions are limited to this thread.

But to answer you question, yes, studio occupancy is 4 plus a child under the age of 3.

Member services has been allowing 5 none bedroom units, but you will not be supplied with additional beds or bedding, towels, etc.

However, AKV (except value 1 bedrooms), BLT, Vero Beach and soon OKW (after the refurb is finished) do have an additional sleeper chair and will have sleeping space for 5 in the one bedroom units. I am guessing that as the resorts go through their next major refurb cycle, these sleeper chairs will be added to the one bedroom units, if there is room within the resort design to accommodate them.
