I believe there are only 5 Concierge Studios, correct?

Do any have Savannah View? If so, which one to request?

Don't want to be "on top" of lounge for noise..Any nice studio request further down the hall, perhaps pool view or savannah view?

Can't wait for my Jambo 1st trip April, 2010!:goodvibes:goodvibes

Thanks as always!!!!!!!!!!!:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

There are three savanna view and two pool view.

all 5 are part of 2BR lock-offs and one of those three facing the savanna is handicap accessible. You can request savanna view but it is not guaranteed.

Food looks awesome! Pool view or savannah sounds nice!

Can't wait for my mid April 2010 trip..3 nights Vero/2 nights AKV Concierge! First time in Orlando in April!!! Weather should be really nice!:dance3::dance3:

I was told by AKV Jambo Front Desk that Room 6209 would be a Savannah view, more quiet resort location...They said that Rooms 6201 would be the Savannah locations, but I'm sure some are 1 Br's...

Anyone know first hand about this studio location? Is this a nice view?
Originally thinking of 6406, pool view, but the front desk made it sound like it may get more "general" resort noise? More of a light sleeper type of person.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks SO MUCH!

With only 5 to choose from, you may not have much of a choice. The Club rooms stay booked up so keep that in mind. All of the 6 floor is open to grand lobby below and if there are loud noises in the lobby, (like the drum march!) you will hear it in your club level villa.
6201 is considered a Savannah view studio (connected to HA 1 bed 6202), but I would call it more "Savannah Side" than view. It is a corner unit right off the lounge. Great location and easy lounge access, but you are in the corner of the building and if you want to see the savannah you will need to be out on your balcony and looking to the right. The bldg wall is straight ahead.
So technically 2 other villas on that side of the hall will give you a Sav View. They are further down the hall away from the lounge, but the lounge is very quiet and relaxing, so not much noise from there. It's the lobby below that can be loud and at night it is pretty quiet also. So I doubt you will have noise issues.

Last trip we had pool view club level studio and I enjoyed it. Close to the elevators and lots of activity at the pool to watch.:goodvibes We stay club level for the amenities, definitely not the views. None are that great imo. I had a value studio for our check in night with the same pool view I received in Concierge just 1 floor lower.

Enjoy your stay!

When you check in, there could be only one studio available. So that would be the one you get, no choice at all. But when the numbers are so limited, that's what is going to happen.

We were in 6209 last May and it is great savanna view if you want to see the trees on the savanna. If you want to see animals, you will see a lot more animals on this savanna by going downstairs to the viewing area that is directly below this room off the lobby level. We still enjoyed our quick stay at AKV CL, esp the Sunrise Safari. -- Suzanne

We were in 6406 (pool view) for 10 nights in August. It was a nice location - on the end so there wasn't much foot traffic in front of the door. You do hear noise from the lobby - drums, kids screaming, etc. but the way the concierge rooms are situated they are ALL going to catch the noise. I didn't notice noise late at night, and I didn't notice noise from the pool. It was mostly from the lobby in the early evening as we were getting ready to go to dinner.

We were in 6402 a 1BR pool view which is the second room down from the lounge and did not notice any excessive noise at night. Everything quiets down in the pool and lobby and the concierge lounge itself closes at 9 pm if I recall correctly. Being too close to the lounge seemed to be no factor on noise. The lobby will provide the most during the day. I actually liked it a lot being able to walk out the room and being right there to get some treats!

We are staying in a 1br 9/26-9/28 Anniversary stayleaving dc @ home.
In jambo house are they all concierge?

No, only the five two bedroom lockoffs located on the sixth floor (three savanna view, two pool view). None of the fifth floor villas are concierge.
