Do all the major shows run as matinees?

I am pretty sure I've read here on the boards about people seeing at least one show, such as Golden Mickeys, as a matinee. But when I look at the navigators posted on some sites I can't seem to find that.

I'm thinking it will be hard to fit everything like Palo, etc. in and still see all the shows. Do they do the major shows as matinees?

TIA!

Only some of the shows run as matinees. These tend to be the more kid oriented shows like Golden Mickeys and Disney Dreams.

Which shows are matinees has changed over our many cruises, so I can't predict your cruise. However, recently it tends to be there 2 plus "Island Magic" which is only shown as a matinee. It is very kid oriented.

Only show that had a matinee on our Eastern was Disney Dreams, 2 pm show in addition to the 2 evening shows. This is of course a sea day on the Eastern.
Golden Mickey's had a special late third show at 10:30 pm, show was the same, but they didn't do all the grand entrance stuff for the late show.
Of course, on other cruise lines 10:30 pm is the normal show time for late seating, Disney is unique in doing the late seating show BEFORE DINNER...which negated about half the reason we pick late seating, to eat AND have the show late.

No other matinees.

We just returned from the seven day Magic cruise on the West Coast, and they had matinee showings for Golden Mickeys, Twiced Charmed and Disney Dreams.

We have been on three disney cruises and not once did the shows every run as a matinee, I wish they had, but they didn't. Not even on our 14 night.

Were those all on sea days?

The Golden Mickeys show was on a sea day, but the other two were on port days. Twice Charmed matinee was at 3:30 on Wednesday in Mazatlan and Disney Dreams was at 3:30 on Thursday in Cabo San Lucas.

[Edited to delete question re sea days -- oops, I didn't read the rest of the thread before posting! Sorry.] I'm trying to figure out which shows, particularly Twice Charmed, would have matinees during our December Western C. cruise. I guess I'll have to wait for Magic to resume its C. sailings this fall.

It seems to vary from cruise to cruise. On our 11/15/03 eastern they had NO matinees, which we had looked forward to. On our 12/4/04 western they had matinees of Golden Mickey's and Disney Dreams.

During our 4-nt Wonder Cruise there was a 2 pm matinee of Disney Dreams on our sea day, in addition to the two evening shows.
