Do all people on the reservation need to be at check in?

We, 4 adults, are staying one night at All-Stars in May. Do we all have to be together to check in? Or can one adult check in for everyone?

We already have park tickets, & the room is paid for.

ideally we all start out the day together, then 2 want to use their park hoppers to go to another park & the other 2 want to head to the hotel, check in & relax.

Everyone on the reservation can order discounted MagicBands ahead of time but the person who made the reservation will have to place the order. You can also get a key card from the front desk if you don't want to purchase a MB.

If you do online check in then everyone will be able to get into the resort room without going to the front desk - unless there is a problem or they don't have a MB.

Nope, I'm always the person from our party to check in since I'm the one with the cc. I usually do on line check in but I'm also usually there before check in time so I go to the front desk to let them know I'm there. Sometimes, not all the time, that helps to get them to find a room that is ready. I also like to have my MB checked to make sure it works, a number of times I've had them not work even though I've had them all for years and used all of them before.

Even if you don't want to do online check in for whatever reason only the person who's name is the lead on the reservation is required to go to the desk, if anyone is needed to go. Everyone does not have to go. If you want to go do something like set up multiple cards for charging, multiple pins, etc then you'll all need to go.
