Do all of the Epcot Resorts Share Bus Service?

Tyler (Chip n' Dale Express) or anyone else--

According to Tour Guide Mike (and I think I read it correctly) all of the Epcot resorts share bus sevice. Isn't that a major drawback?? I know we can walk to Epcot and boat to MGM but the busses to MK and DTD are shared between at least 5 resorts?? Is this correct? We are trying to decide between ASMo, CSR, CR, AKL and the Dolphin for our June trip (splitting between 2 resorts). This would probably take the Dolphin out of the running if true. Thanks for any clarification

at times the swan and dolphi share buses with boardwalk and y&b club but during busy season/crows they run their own buses. The dolphin is second pick-up,swan first so not too worry about it being full. The bus service is fantastic at these resorts.

It's really hard to give you a definitive answer, because our Magic On Demand is highly dynamic. It can change at the spur of the moment.

During high capacity times, the resorts are divided in one way or another, however, during slow times and seasons, it's not uncommon for the busses to be combined. Even when combined, it's not as big of a deal as many make it out to be.


Boats on the other hand are shared with all 5 at all times.

On only one occasion during our 11/8 - 1/16 2002 trip did one bus serve all 5 resorts. Sometimes BW was left off the stops, other times S/D had its own. We stayed at Dolphin.

We were at the BC Thanksgiving week and shared buses with YC and Boardwalk. It was sometimes a pain. First bus to AK was full(don't know why they bothered to stop), waited 15-20 minutes for next bus. Only about 8 of us could get on that one. Had to ask driver to radio that some guests had been waiting 40 minutes! Never had a problem getting back to the resort, but lines at the resort were a little long. Guess we were spoiled by our last trip to AKL where you don't have to share a bus with anyone! On the other hand.....wouldn't trade those buses for anything. Love leaving the car at home and having someone else do the driving!!!
