I see that they Disney is offering a good deal for next Spring/Summer. Do they always require full payment at the time of booking on these types of specials?

Online yes they do but if you book over the phone you pay a deposit and then the balance later

Do you know what the deposit requirements are? Also, I am calling this following number from their web site and it is not working:
08448 008 898*

Is there a better number or alternative number to call from the US?

Hi,
The deposit is 15% of your total booking. Try 0800 169 0737, you can also call The Walt Disney Travel company in the US and they'll transfer you to the Paris booking department.

If you book via the Walt Disney Holiday company website you can just pay a deposit and you still get the special offer. I've just priced up for May half term next year and it works about a few pounds cheaper than the actual Disneyland Paris website too. :)

To give you an idea. 4 nights/5 days at NBH is about £730 and the deposit they want is £109 with balance due by 21st March 2016.

Just wanted to update to say I've just booked our trip via the website I listed for May 2016. £729 for 4 nights/5 days in Newport Bay Hotel in the May half term. I paid £109 deposit with the remainder due 21st March 2016. :)

lush,

Thanks for the advice. Using the WD travel website I save about $200 US.

We would love to add an additional night without going to the parks, but adding a night adds about 30% (or US $700) to our bill and the big travel websites want about $1,000 per night for hotel only (Travelocity, Expedia). We are thinking we may have to spend the night in Paris the 1st night. Is there a way to get a good price on 1 night hotel only at Disney? By the way, these prices are for the Disneyland Hotel for June 2016. We are getting a price of about 1,499 pounds or $2194 US for four nights.

The prices for half or full board seem outrageous. Over 1,000 pounds for 4 days of lunch and dinner? Ouch!

lush,

One more question for you. Is there a way to see additional room choices? It seems to only list standard on that web site.

Yes the half/full board options can make it a bit painful! If you want to find out about adding a night on room only it might be worth giving them a call direct to ask. I know some people with APs do that.

When I clicked through to pick the hotel to book it gave me a couple of other options for rooms in some of the hotels. If the option you were hoping for isn't coming up I think you'll have to give the reservation line a call. I know that sometimes the rooms on special floors have to be booked over the phone. Or at least that used to be the case. I've been planning my WDW trip for the last 18 months so I'm a bit out of touch with DLRP at the minute. That'll be all changed once I get back from my trip mid-May and start concentrating on this one. ;)

Sorry I couldn't be more help with that for you!

i'd imagine you're seeing the premium half or full board price if you're seeing it as an addition to the Disneyland Hotel booking - thats all the most expensive restaurants in the resort which is included in that price. I don't know about the Walt Disney Travel company, but if you book direct with DLP you can add whichever half board or full board plan you like, regardless of which hotel you are staying in. Personally I don't think any of the DLP dining plans are worth it if you have to pay for them.

OK. Thanks for the good insights. I see on the Disneyland website their is an option to buy insurance that will allow one to cancel with no penalty. Is that available with Walt Disney Travel? The cancel policy is extremely strict with that 15% penalty.
