Do all character meals do photo's before?

Or, if anyone knows which restaurants definately do...How much do they cost? Can they be photopassed? Or post some examples! I love picture threads

I think only Ohana's, PSB, CRT, Chef Mickey's and Donald's Breakfaatausurs have photo ops.

CRT is included with the meal and can be put on the Photopass card with the Photopass code they provide you with.

The photo packages at all the other restaurants are a package you can buy. I bought Chef Mickey package and it was $26.95 for two 5x7 and 6 wallets with one in a magnet and one in a key chain.

The package photos at these restaurants can only be combined with the Photopass card photos if you buy them as there is a Photopass code on the package that allows you to able to combine it with your Photopass card photos.

We just got back Sunday from 8 nights in WDW.

The photo packages have changed ( at least at O'hanas & Chef Mickeys) since our last trip. They no longer do the 5 X 7 package with the keychains & magnets.

Now, it's a $30.00 package & you get an 8 X 10 of your group in a folder with an 8 X 10 of the characters & 4 little pics (4 X 6 size) of your group.

The CM told me that many people are disappointed not to have the magnets/keychains anymore.

Wow, that stinks. I liked it just the way it was. I liked the 5x7 size rather than 8x10 and I liked the wallet sizes with the magnet....I could live without the key chain though. It was always a great deal for $26.95. Oh well.

I bought the package in Oct by the way.

I am disappointed in reading the changes in the photo package. I love the 5 x 7 size and the fact we always got 2 because then I would give them to my family and the inlaws. We also like the magnets and the keychains. I have the magnet lined up in years on my fridge and DH has a display of keychains that he keeps at work. Thanks for the info on that.

We were able to add our Donald Breakfastsaurus pics to our photopass card during our last trip. I think you can add the pics if you buy the package first because you need the numbers off the bottom on the pic to add them to the photopass card/website

It just looks bigger because it's in an 8 X 10 mat. The mats, btw, are a little different but are still the same size as the previous ones.

After reading this, I went and looked at one CM photo I have in our spare bedroom in a frame and it is also 6x8.

When I posted the other day, I looked a a CM photo that I put in a photo album. I 'thought' it was 5x7 but maybe that was also 6x8. I check in the morning.

This package was always such a great deal when you take into consideration one Photopass photo alone is $12.95, but now they raised the price, took the magnet/key chain away, and took one 6x8 away. It's a shame.

If I already bought the package why would I want to add it to the photopass? They should just scan the card like the do in the parks and take the pic, but then I guess they are not making the money.

you are right, they want to make money.

The benefit of still getting it on Photopass is to make more copies than what was included in the package.

Ok, I looked again at my CM photo in my photo album (from 2005) and it is definitely a 5x7.

The CM photo upstairs in a frame is definitely 6x8 and I think we had it taken in 2002.

So I guess CM photo folks like messing with our heads and changing the size of the photos in the package on a regular basis to keep us on our toes!!

Sounds like right now they are 6x8. This size is a pain because it's not easy to find 6x8 frames or photo albums.
