It really depends on the holiday and where you are going. If you are talking about MCO, yes the price will go up BIG time around Christmas/Presidents week and many other school breaks.

Yes they do. If you are planning to use ff miles there are blackout days you can't use around holidays. You just have to keep watching the fares.

For certain choice flights and dates around major holidats, fares shoot up about eleven months in advance and stay up.
