I have been to WDW many times and I can not remember ever seeing babies on rides. (I guess I have never looked for them though.) I am traveling w/ my 1 year old niece in May.
Can she go on Dumbos, Tea cups, carrousel, IASW?
Am I right in assuming she can't go on PoC?
Is there a list of suggested rides any where?
Thanks for your help.

She can go on anything that doesn't have a height restriction.

She can ride Pirates, no problem there. There is a small "slide"/drop, but she'll be fine.

She cannot go on any of the Mountains or the Barnstormer, I think Stitch has a height restriction, but I'm not sure. She can't ride Expedition Everest, Dinosaur, or Kali River Rapids, and I don't know about Primeval Whirl. She cannot ride ToT, RnRC, or Star Tours. She cannot ride Soarin', Test Track, or Mission Space, and I'm not sure about the boat ride in Norway.

Allearsnet has a list of the rides with height restrictions somewhere, maybe under Theme Parks? I can't remember, but it's there.

Our 7 month old (at the time) rode several rides.

EPCOT:
Ride at Mexico
Figment
Nemo (her first ride)

DS:
None. I wanted to check out the playground, but she was barely crawling and in the middle of her morning nap.

AK:
Tricera Top Spin (like Dumbo and was my compensation for not going on Dumbo)
Safari (put her to sleep)--hold on tight!

MK:
Peter Pan
TeaCups (loved 'em!)
Small World
Winnie the Pooh
Pirates

AK, MK, and DS all have some sort of playground. Our DD was barely crawling. A child who can walk/stand might enjoy those.

I got out my list. I'm glad I wrote them down. We're pretty brave. I just carried her pacifier just in case she didn't like something. There was something during Figment she didn't like but the scene changes quick enough. I'd probably go on Spaceship Earth now but it wasn't open.

Hope this helps.

Hi,
I took my 1yr old daughter on alot of rides! We had a great time! We went on Pirates, Haunted Mansion, everything in Fantasyland too! She didn't like Peter Pan though..she dug her head into my chest and hugged me the whole time! Maybe she was scared of the dark! lol
Also, the rider swap was great too! And I was allowed to take the stroller into all the restaurants. It even sometimes got me better tables! (quiet in the rear of restaurants) And use the Baby Centers. They are great!
Have a great time!
Jamie

My son was 6 months old his first trip and my daughter celebrated her first birthday at Disney. They saw/rode everything that did not have a height restriction.

On the other hand, if you're planning to venture off of property, Universal Islands of Adventure has stricter rules -- they have to be able to sit unsupported - ds could sit a little but not real well -- he couldn't ride Cat In The Hat but was allowed on One Fish Two Fish and the Carouseusel.

We took my 3 month old son on tons of stuff....he slept through most of it but he did pretty much everything we did.

Thank you so much for replying. I am new to the Disney for Families Thread. It has really helped me w/ our trip planning. :goodvibes
Our group consists of 8 adults and 1 baby so we have plenty of helpers for our first experience w/ a baby.
