DN doesn't like stuffed animals, does this mean he won't like the Disney chars?

<font face="times" size="+0">i didn't think this question quite fit under theme parks/attractions so i put it here instead.

6yr old DN (well not technically... but he's DBF's nephew) does not like stuffed animals. his mother doesn't like them, and any stuffed animal gifts are promptly put in a closet somewhere or given to other people. so, he grew up without stuffed animals , and from what i've seen i don't think he cares for them at all.

i've seen him "playing" and that mostly consists of toy cars, toy trucks, his gameboy, and playing video or computer games. he hardly ever plays outside. (okay sorry i'm getting OT now... i have issues. )

ANYWAY... i was thinking, if he doesn't like stuffed animals, doesn't that mean he won't like the HUGE "stuffed animals" at the parks? (Mickey, Tigger, Goofy, etc.)

within the next few years, we'll probably be going on a big trip with DBF's family. DBF and i don't have any kids, so the only kid on the trip will be DN. i love watching children's reactions to the Disney characters... it makes me happy. i was looking forward to being there to witness DN's first WDW trip... but now i'm starting to think... will it be magical for him? his family is not really a "Disney family" and he doesn't even watch the Disney channel.... in fact, now that i think about it, i've never even asked DN if he knows who Mickey Mouse is. (these things are incomprehensible to someone like me who is a Disney freak, and also happens to love stuffed animals)

do you all know of any children who don't like or don't have any stuffed animals, but still liked the Disney park characters?</font>

I cant imagine that, I am like you a total disney freak and a lover of stuffed animals.

My cousin never really liked stuffed animals, but she loved Disney and seeing these life life characters playing with her and messing up her hair. I think once you are caught up in the magic of disney all the other stuff just goes away.

My son never really played with Stuffed animals. He had plenty, I love them and bought him several and he got many as gifts. They occassional get played with as part of wrestling matches but that's about it.

But my son LOVED Disney and loved the characters, still does!

both my DSs have never been a big fan of stuffed toys. They would play with them a little but then it's back on the shelf.

However, they all love the characters, especially pooh and his gang.
