I can't find the original thread about this, but wanted to let everyone know I got an unhelpful email back from Disney. Background info: I have two accounts, neither of which received a bonus.

Dear Renee,

Thank you for your email.

Last week emails were sent out containing a Happy New Year code. Please check
your email box for this email. We are not able to resend this email if it was
deleted.

It wasn't deleted, it never existed. :headache: Anyone get a better response, or was it the same for all? I needed that code (and just that code) for inferno...
 
Maybe those of us who chose to turn off the "receive promotional offers" when we registered for movie rewards are the ones not getting this. I haven't gotten mine and haven't received a response to my email I sent to disney either.
 

I emailed them as well and have yet to hear back. I let them know in my email I never received a message from them and that I even had checked my spam mail and there was nothing. So if I get a message like that I will be a little annoyed. They can tell if you enter the code and received the points so I don't get why they can't just credit those of us that email them to say we didn't get it at all. :confused3 Would be nice if they would even though I know they wouldn't do it. :rolleyes:

BTW, I have it set to get promotional offers or whatever emails from them so that shouldn't be an issue considering I have received those emails with no problems. Really when its free extra points like that they should be sending them out to all members even if they don't sign up for the offers. But with that mentioned I wonder how many that didn't get them were signed up to get those offers or not signed up for them.
 
I got that email last night myself. So instead of waiting another week to hear back from them again after I confirmed that I check ALL of my email including my spam/junk folder I decided to call. And I was pretty much told they were sent out in bulk and theres nothing they can do about it now. And when I asked if there was any way to get a 50 point code over the phone they said "No". Gotta love it...:confused3
 
I got a reply telling me to check my junk mail/spam folder. I didn't receive an e-mail with the bonus but get a monthly newsletter type e-mail from them.
 
Thanks everyone for your responses, especially Batty who took it one step further than I would have thought to. I guess I'm out of luck, which is frustrating, but it sounds like I'm not alone!

Hmm wonder if they changed the response to this cause of all the complaints they have had about no emails? Sounds like a bunch of bull to me. I'm sorry but really why on earth would you send something like that out to only certain memebers? Especially when you know it will get out that people got those emails and others will ask why they didn't and not be happy. Very bad customer service there on this. :sad2:
 
I'm with BerryPrincess on this one because like I said when I called the lady I talked with said they were sent to everyone in I quote "bulk emails" and she proceeded to blame people not getting them on the email providers. :lmao: To be completely honest here I have quite a few DMR accounts [different dot coms] and not a single one got the email. So I give up. :confused3
 
I'm sorry so many people didn't get any codes. I've always gotten their newsletters, new dvd "reminders" and the occaisonal bonus code or way to earn bonus points reminders. Don't get me started on OTHER Disney mail, they can't keep my name, address and e-mail straight even though we've been there 4 times :confused3 so I know I'll never get the elusive PIN code but I do get my DMR e-mails. :rotfl: Anyway, this won't help with the e-mail that was just missed, but this is always at the bottom of their e-mails so I thought I'd share:

Wow Evoulie, that's an interesting response considering mine that probably arrived within a day of yours. Don't they know about the DIS? ;) Surely they have some idea that we're on here constantly comparing notes with each other? :surfweb:
