So, since DMR doesn't have "cheap" Disney gift cards anymore (too many points unless I change my mind and waste all my points), I'm thinking about using one of the rewards to go see a movie. It just looks like a better "value".
I could get admission ($10 toward one admission for 600 points) or a $5 "concession" reward (I think that was 300 points, but not sure.)
How does this work? I know I would have to print the certificate, and "must bring printed certificate to the participating theater's box office to redeem."
What if the theaters in my area don't participate? Or, since this is offered in conjunction with Fandango, am I safe to assume that any theater listed on Fandango will take the certificate?
Do I have to have a Fandango account? I don't go to many movies other than Disney, so I am used to showing up at the box office with my cash or credit card. I like to keep it simple.
Mostly I just don't want to spend my points that have taken me years to get, and find out that I can't use the certificate at the theater.
Also, if I go to a movie using a certificate, can I still enter my ticket on DMR? That seems like double dipping.
And... I don't see anything listed on DMR that says you can't get 2 of these certificates and take someone along with the other certificate (like me and my DD). Anyone know otherwise?
