DME vs car service?

Hi. I was wondering which would be better? We get in at 745pm and we usually get a car service. I am thinking about DME this time. I know when they first started there were a lot of issues so I am wondering how is it now. It is important for us to get to the hotel fast. Thanks for any suggestions.

It can be a toss up. Using a car service you have to stop and get your own checked bags. Using DME at the time of day you do not.

Is there a reason you need to get to the resort right away?

We wanted to catch the mk fire works from our room. But it is not a must. Thanks for your help

Figure on 90 mins from gate to resort. So, if you land at 7:45, you probably won't get to your resort until around 9:00, maybe not until 9:15ish. Then, another 15 mins to get checked in and to your room. You might make it using a car service, but barely.

You don't say whether you're checking bags. If you're doing carryon only, a car service or taxi would be the fastest. If you're checking bags, a car service or taxi would probably beat DME by 5-10 minutes (maybe). But then you have to ask if the added cost is worth that 5-10 minutes.
