Are you using DME to get to the resort in the first place?
If you ARE using DME for your own resort transportation, then it is possible, but you have to pay for it.
If you ARE NOT using DME for your own resort transportation, then yes you can get a free ride.
First off, for either scenario, look up a flight time that departs MCO about the same time your daughter's flight arrives at MCO.
To pay for it, do the following.
Then call Mears and schedule a pickup from the Swan, Dolphin, or Shades of Green for the day you want to meet your daughter. Give them the flight number you found and they will tell you the pickup time. The proceed to the resort you chose at the appropriate time. Then pay the Mears driver $20 cash and you will be taken to the airport.
As you LEAVE the airport, wait till your daughter checks in at the DME desk, then go to the Mears desk right next to the DME desks and purchase a one-way Mears transfer to your resort for $20, then you both enter the line for your resort. (There is a very small chance you will be asked to board a different vehicle, but not really likely).
If you are NOT using DME for your actual resort transportation, then make sure you are on the DME reservation. The easiest thing to do is book the reservation, but tell them you DO NOT have flight plans yet. When you get to your resort, go to your front desk and tell them you need a DME pickup on such and such date. Give them the flight number you would have researched for the Mears ride. You will then get a note under your door for your Mears pickup time. Ride the bus to the airport.
When you daughter arrives at the airport, have her give them her departure flight home information. You indicate that you will not need DME for the ride back to the airport. You then both board the appropriate DME bus with the tickets that came in your original packet.
