DME to/from hotel with two different flight reservations?

So I'm hoping to use DME to get to/from the hotels during my upcoming stay. To complicate things, I have a split stay. To further complicate things, I'm "renting" DVC studios for both portions of my split stay.

I had to book two separate flight reservations on the exact same flight to and from Orlando. This was the only way I could use my airline miles and some other discounts. So my wife has her reservation and I have mine on the same plane, right next to each other.

My question is this, does DME have the ability to "link" or otherwise understand that we are the same party going to/coming from the same place?

I think DME only looks at your flight number, not the specific reservation, so you should be fine.

You do not enter your flight reservation details for ME, just the airline and flight number type information, this will not be an issue at all.

Also note, if you have a split stay and use the online form, you need to submit a form for each stay. So one for the arrival and another for the departure.

You should not have a problem. This is the second year that my NJ friend and I are going on the same reservation #, and what we do is, when we fill out the online form, I am listed as flight group #1, coming from LGA, and she is listed as flight group #2, coming from Newark. We did this last year and not a problem at all. Good luck!

Yep, no issues. We typically have parties from our room on different flights entirely - it’s a nonissue.
