DME to ESPN ?

Unfortunately, I think I know the answer to all of my questions already.

I fly in tomorrow (Saturday) at 11:15am and have to head directly to ESPN to pick up my RunDisney stuff before the Expo closes at 3:30pm.

1) Would DME drop me at ESPN, or do they only go to hotels?

2) If they only do hotels, how long can I expect DME to take from airport to the first hotel drop?
Specifically thinking I’ll get off at the first hotel and take a MinnieVan to ESPN (which is cheaper than a taxi from the airport).

3) If I don’t show up for the DME upon arrival (because I’ve taken a taxi), would that no-show cancel my DME for departure?

...I think I’m realizing I’ll need to take an airport taxi straight to ESPN.

Dme will only take you to your resort. It doesn't go to the wide world of sports. If you have only a bag you can keep with you on the bus (i.e., backpack), you can get off at the first resort, then take a cab. It's probably easier to take a cab or Uber from the airport.

Your ride back to the airport won't be cancelled if you don't take the ride to the resort. You can call and cancel though, if you're sure you aren't going to use it.

What resort are you staying at?

It should take ~90 minutes from when you get off the plane until you're walking in your resort with DME. So you should be at your resort about 1p. I would think that would be plenty of time to get to WWoS.

I'd say you're stressing too much.

No DME will not take you to ESPN.

If staying at ASMu its likely that the first stop would either be ASsports or ASMo.
Yes you can get off what whatever the first resort does happen to be.

Now the that app has the minnie van option front and center it should be quick and easy to access.

Unless your flight arrives late I'd suspect you'll be at your resort by around 1pm. Still giving you 2.5 hours to make it to get your race stuff.

Don't stress so much.

Thanks for the advice everyone. That’s why I came here.

I’ll rely on the magic of the Disney transportation system. I can also take that taxi money and buy a good dinner now.
In case you didn't know, the RunDisney buses usually are charter coaches (but sometimes Disney Transport buses are used), and they may or may not board at a different location than the park buses, so if you decide to take the bus to the Expo, be sure to ask specifically where the "race" buses load and/or look for the RunDisney signs. The All Stars also have regular, non-race bus service to EWWS that runs less frequently; again, the RunDisney buses may or may not board at the same location.

I would have a backup plan in case your flight is late. I suggest ride share from MCO to ESPN as the backup.

It is 12:35pm (70-mins after my flight arrived) and am happily on the shuttle from resort to RunDisney Expo. Very happy I didn’t need to spend the extra expense on a taxi/Uber.

Thanks again for the advice everyone. Very much appreciated!
