DME to a Different Resort?

Flying in separately from my family without luggage. Staying at AS Music. Will DME allow me to hitch a ride to an EPCOT resort (like Boardwalk) so I can meet them in the park that day?

No. DME will only transport guests to the resort they are booked at.

As MinnieMum noted, DME only transports guests to the hotel they are staying at. Once DME drops you at ASM you'll need to catch a separate bus to get to Epcot.

Although you do have to board the ME bus for your particular resort, you do not have to get off at your resort. If you want to save time, you can get off at the first resort you stop at and catch an Epcot bus there.

DME was designed with the idea that passengers would check in and leave their carry-ons (in their room or with bell services if the room is not yet ready) after arriving from the airport.

Unless you check in (with a credit card) and accept your room, they won't be able to deliver your yellow-tagged bags to that room while you're out having fun.

My family will have checked in ahead of me and I won't have luggage but I get the picture. I assume CMs will know where I'm 'supposed' to go when I check in? Guess it won't hurt to ask when I get there and maybe the magic will happen sooner. Thanks all.

you can check in without leaving a credit card.
