Will DME take you to any of the Disney resorts or do you have to go to YOUR reserved resort? Would they drop you off at Yacht Club when you are really checking into Caribbean Beach later that same day?

Thanks

It will take you to your resort; and also leaves only from your resort.

They are usually bundled into groups of three, so you never really know which resorts are going to be bundled together. They don't stop at all the resorts.

When I go down the weekend of Thanksgiving, they are trying to get so many people back to the airport from the resort - they don't always completely fill up the buses because they need to get the buses back so quickly for the next pick-up.

Ask. Every poster who asked has been told no but if enough people ask Disney may change their policy.

Some guests might like a Contemporary drop off so they can start their day at the MK. Some guests might like a POLY pick up so then can end their trip with breakfast at Kona.

I would imagine that Disney sees it as a priority issue. First priority is to check-in at your resort. They have plenty of alternative transportation options when you get to your resort. DME was created to get guests to and from WDW and MCO.

Wouldn't you want to go to your resort first to get your park tickets.....

No, not in this case. Actually the idea is to get as close to the Dolphin for a rental car pickup before we head over to our resort closer to official checkin hours. We thought we'd walk from a close resort since DME doesn't drop at the Dolphin. And the reason we aren't renting from MCO is price and convience of dropoff later since we aren't keeping the car during our whole stay.

Well, I guess we can always ask when we get there. Like Lewisc said, if enough people ask maybe they'll consider it as an option. Thanks!

There are boats to the Dolphin from both Epcot and HS. I just rented from there last week. We were at the Boardwalk when I picked it up (the 2nd day of the trip) and dropped it off the day before we left. We took a boat back to Epcot and then caught the resort bus back to VWL (where we ended our stay).

You could take the resort bus from CBR over to one of those parks and take a nice boat ride to the Dolphin--from HS, it was the first stop. Very easy and convenient.

Did you check the rates at the Car Care Center? It's open later than the Dolphin counter, and there's a free shuttle.
