Just got another box with FDrive and FP+ info. This one is for our April trip.
What kind of money is Disney spending on all these mailings. I was told I could use the first set for all trips. why send more

Think of the flash drives like the old AOL Floppys and try reusing them

They send them based on whatever their criteria are. I doubt they'll continue to send them forever.

However...I had gotten the drives well before the MBs starting rolling in. After all, the links to MDE that are on the drive show you how to make FP+ and customize your MBs. Be a bit silly to get those AFTER you got your MBs.

Just got my first Flash Drive.....for our trip next July! Didn't get one at all for the trip I just returned from

We received FOUR flash drives yesterday for our two week quad-split trip next Spring. FOUR! Total waste of $$$ in my eyes. Not only were we FP+ testers last year and already have used MBs from last month, but DH is a CM as well.

Well, look at it that way or see the $$$ it would cost to develop an algorithm to eliminate multiple shipments and not miss anyone. They are scared that the whole initiative isn't going as they'd hoped, I think, and want to do everything they can think of to ensure people t least understand it.

Up to 4 flash drives here...haven't even had time to open them yet...I don't mind the magic bands..gives me a chance to get different colors...gotta be stylish when wearing them!!!!

Does anyone know if you get the flash drives if you pick up your magic bands at the resorts? We are from Canada so they won't be mailing the magic bands to us, and we are hoping to get a flash drive seeing as it is a useful cute souvenir

Hopefully they still have them in late 2014 when we visit

You would have to reformat the flash drives, but I believe that they should be usable. I have read on disboards that people who are lucky enough to get them are doing just that

They are about 2gb of storage on them. With the info on them, it's really just a hyperlink. Takes you to a webpage to view 2 different videos on how to set up MDE. I deleted the links, and I'm using it as a flash drive.
