DME return pick-up times

How far in advance of your flight time will DME pick you up at your resort to head for the airport? Is it enough time? We have a 7:10am flight... don't really want to be on a bus at 3am...

Currently, it is 3 hours prior to your flight.

YEs, three hours +/- 15 minutes. The pickup time you're assigned is when the bus leaves.

This is because MCO's TSA screening is a total disaster and they know it takes extra time to get through.

I think it's more for conformity. No, "okay, your 7 AM flight pickup will be 2.25 hours prior... your 8 AM pickup is 3 hours ahead... your 10 AM flight pickup is 3.15 hours prior..." DME allows for picking up at multiple resorts, driving among those resorts, driving to ths airport. Yes, it even allows for traffic issues at 4 AM. Guests have other options not included in the resort price.

Had a 7:20 flight the other week and they wanted me out there by 3:45 for a 4am bus. I was up and ready early so I headed out early and got on an even earlier bus (the driver invited me to do so). It allowed me to take my time with every aspect of the airport, which was actually very nice. No rushing or worrying. And I had precheck (my first time with it in Orlando) so even security was decent, but I was still glad for the time to be leisurely before my flight.

It will be approximately 3 hours prior to your flight time. Expect a pickup sometime between 3:45 and 4:15. Remember that it takes almost 30 minutes to get to the airport, and the ME will likely stop at one or two other resorts on the way to the airport.

My flight last week was actually closer to 3.5 hours before my flight. Pick up was 4:35 for an 8 PM flight. Was the last stop. And needed every minute as security was an absolute disaster and took an hour to get through. We hit some traffic and then the mess at security. We got through maybe 10-15 minutes prior to boarding which gave just enough time to quickly grab dinner to go.

7:10 AM flight, with the current timing, they will give you a pickup time about 4-4:15 and you will need to be at the bus stop 10-15 minutes before that.

Same for late night flights out? We have an 11;10 PM flight, so figure on DME pickup at around 8pm? we always try to get the most of our time there - coming in the week before 8am landing at MCO!

Yes, pick up is usually the same 3 hours +/- 15 minutes, any time of day.
