We are headed out this weekend and my family is driving. My mom is flying ahead of us. We were gifted points for the week and rented points to add on the front since she's getting there early.

We have ME set up for the flight there but not the flight home. I'm wondering if we can just take care of it when we get there? Or will they allow me to call since I'm not a dvc member? (I'm trying not to add extra work to the person who gifted us the points.)
 
You can't call Member Services, but you can call the number listed for DME in the DME booklet you received with the luggage tags(s) to make those arrangements.

She can add it at the front desk. That is what I did 2 weeks ago at WL when we had a split stay.
 
Several times they've offered to do it for me when I got to DME. That's because whenever I've had a split stay, I get two booklets, one for each resort. One booklet shows me taking DME to resort #1, the other booklet shows me returning from resort #2. Since the booklet I show them when I get there doesn't show me returning, they often offer to book it, not knowing I already have. So I'm sure you'll be OK.

Thanks everyone! Just a couple of days before we head to SSR and I can't wait!!
 
She can add it at the front desk. That is what I did 2 weeks ago at WL when we had a split stay.
The Concierge desk at the resort can also do it. We had to change our return flights on one of our stays and one of the CMs at the Concierge desk was able to make the change for us.
