DME operating hours for return to MCO?

So we're going to DW in March. There are two direct flights there, arriving before 10 pm, so no issue with DME and arrival. But going home, the only direct flight leaves at 7 am, and what I can find about DME is that it will leave three hours before your flight time. Does this include 7 am flights for a 4 am departure time? Or will they not leave before a certain hour?
