I think we will be doing DME.

Now for one more question please...

I have read reviews of long lines to get on a DME bus back to MCO and lots of stops before driving to MCO.

Are the DME buses to MCO from the WDW resorts less crowded on weekdays than on weekends ?

We will go back to MCO from POFQ on Tuesday, July 3rd.

If our flight leaves MCO for NY at 11 AM - we would need to be at MCO by 9 AM.
Then we wait for the DME bus at 6 AM ? (3 hours before 9 AM)
Is there a DME bus at 6 AM ?

Or do we do the DME bus at 8 AM ? (3 hours before flight time)

We do not want to be late or rushed for our return flight home.

Thanks!

The day before you leave, you will be assigned to a specific bus and you must take that bus. They will leave the information on the door of your room. Your assigned time will be around 8:00. You will need to be at the platform, with all of your things, ready to go 15 minutes before your scheduled time.

The day before checkout, you'll get a tag on your door with your DME information. It will have a departure time on it that is usually about three hours before your plane is scheduled to leave. Our flight left at 1:30 and we were scheduled to be on a DME bus at 10:35. It was not crowded at all (just us and I think we stopped at one other hotel, maybe the GF?) and we were at the airport with plenty of time, especially since we also did the resort airline check in. So all we had to do was get ourselves off DME and go through security and wait for the plane.
