DME glitches - which do I need to fix?

DME is driving me crazy. 2 of us are arriving 12/5, I dutifully put our fight info. into the DVC member site in the DME section. I got our 2 yellow tags.
Meanwhile we tried adding our 3rd person who is joinng us for our second resort on our split stay. I got an email saying they couldn't process that request because the address we wanted them to send the tags to did not match the address of the lead guest. I called DVC who put me on hold and called DME and have assured me that they have fixed that issue.
2 days after that 1/2 hr phone call I got a letter from DME confirming our reservations but stating they had no arrival info. for any of us and no departure info. for 2 of us.
We'll be @ WDW for 12 days - can I just supply the departure info. for the missing 2 when we get there? Or can I call DME directly now and supply the info. or should I call DVC again?
I've never had so many glitches & don't understand why the info. I dutifully typed in didn't take.

I would try calling DME direct but they may not be able to help you since it is a DVC reservation, I will tell you that I always seem to have issues when it is a split stay and a DVC reservation. If DME can't help you call member services and speak to a supervisor and express your frustration

You don't have to worry about the going home information until after you get there. It's actually better not to fix glitches regarding going home until after you get there since there is less of a chance the going to Disney part will get screwed up more.

When you show up at the welcoming area with your Magical Express packet or copies of yellow tags or other confirming paperwork, the fact you got a later communication with some of the people missing or deleted will not nullify what you have. (A plain resort reservation is not good enough.)

Getting to the DME welcoming area a few hours early or tardy going to Disney won't hurt.

If you are unable to get anything in printing or in writing after reasonable effort, the names and cities of two phone reservationists you talked to, written on the back of an envelope, should be enough to get you on the DME bus to Disney.

For a split stay the best time to make previously unmade DME reservations home is upon arrival at the last resort. The normal deadline is morning of the day before the day you leave. However if you wait that long you will need to fetch the confirmation paper as soon as that is ready which could mean coming back to the resort mid-afternoon.

In all reality? Your first issue wasn't a 'glitch'. The luggage tags aren't supposed to go to a different address. Everything is supposed to go to one address....if you have people coming in on a different day, you would get their tags and have to get them to the other group. So, to the best if my knowledge, they did something outside the norm for you....if it works out.
As far as return service, you can take care of all that when you get to WDW. Just be sure to go it at least 35 hrs prior to departures.

Thx, I think I'll at least wait until the last yellow tag arrives before I try to deal w/ it.
I suppose, should this issue arise again, I can choose the late arriving person as the lead guest on the second reservation and have their tag shipped to them @ their address (which is 6 hours away from mine) since they are not on reservation #1.
Still doesn't clear up the mystery of why only one leg of my carefully entered flight data on 8/16 made it from the DVC site to DME - what happened to all the info. about the other arrivals/departures? Normally I'd assume my error - but in this case I think not - hence I'm sticking w/ Disney IT glitch for that issue.

I have never had much success with booking DME online unless your reservation is straightforward. Calling has always been pleasant and I have been able to book split stays and separate arrival and departure trips without issue. Its not always convenient but for this I just find a quiet time and call to book DME.
Oh but even when calling - the information will always be mailed to the reservation holder as mentioned above.

Update - the yellow tag(s) arrived at the correct address 2 envelopes and each w/ a tag for all 3 of us for the second leg of our split stay - so 5 tags too many, but we are set for arrival :)

I can't believe this response especially from a moderator, the OP is concerned and I would be too so instead of minimalizing her issues off assitance and if it were me I wouldn't want to wait until I was at my destination to finalize my return and sympathize with the OP.

PS if you request the tags go to a different address then that is the way it is supposed to be and in 6 trips I request the tags go to my sister and they are sent that way so no they aren't "supposed" to go to the address of the lead on an reservation.
