DME experiences

I am curious about folks recent experiences boarding DME to your disney resort. Do folks find certain times to be busier? We are arriving at 8:30am on Saturday. Also, anyone know which resorts are first for drop off? We are going to Boardwalk Inn.

We also went to Boardwalk. We arrived at airport late afternoon - 3:30ish. We happened to walk right through and got on the bus. It took off within 15 minutes and the bus only had about 10 people on. We stopped at Saratoga, and another resort which escapes my mind. It didn't seem to be too long.

I know other people have very different experiences.

Was just wondering the same thing. We're trying to decide if we should keep our car rental or not. We leave in a few days. I don't want to waste a couple hours if DME has been taking forever. We have early noon arrival.

Experience from late July:
We arrived around 1pm on a Friday and got boarded on a bus within 5 or 10 minutes. There was no one else in our resort line but it turns out there were already several families on the bus waiting and they made us the last group on and departed. We were staying at BWI and it was the first stop. Our early morning return at the end of the trip was not as smooth and cut it too close for our comfort - we might’ve been better to take a Lyft and save the stress.

Or specifically request an earlier bus time at or before the time (morning before when) you get the confirmation paper delivered to your room door.
