For our December trip, my 13 & 21 yr olds will be arriving by plane.
I'd like to prepare them for where they will get off the DME bus and catch the internal bus to our campsite. Is the bus stop the same?

If anyone has any pictures of where this is in relation to the Reception Hall - or maybe could take a picture for me in the coming months - it will help put the 13 yr olds mind at ease. I've actually found pictures of inside MCO and signs for DME check-in, so that'll help them in their journey also.

They have been to FW several times, but always rode with us.

Maybe they could call you from the bus, when it leaves airport property. Then, you'll have about thirty minutes and maybe you could meet them up front at the ME bus drop off and you can all ride together to your campsite/cabin. You can take your car up the the overflow parking and get them, or your golf cart, or just take the internal bus.

Nothing has changed about ME. They drop off just outside the door to the front desk of Fort Wilderness. The internal buses and buses to the parks are just across the road from ME. There is a stop sign, walk past it and go to the covered area to wait for all buses. You can't miss it, it's exactly as you have seen it in the past.

Thanks for the info.

The last time we were at FW was before they started using DME. I've never seen it.

When I asked "is the bus stop the same?" I was wondering if ME shared the same bus stop as the Outpost. You answered that question for me - they are two separate bus stops!

Great idea to meet them at the front! I'm sure they'll be calling me for directions through MCO also!

That's what I plan to do in October. Rick is flying in, so I'll just meet his DME bus with the golf cart and we'll ride back to the site.

However, it's really close. The DME stop is right at the door of the Reception Outpost, and the Disney Transport Bus Stop is right across the parking lot from there.

As has been reported before, after dropoff and checkin they will give you a ride to Cabin by larger cart.
